It enjoys about 325 sunny days each year and has very mild winters with temperatures rarely falling below 10°C.
Situated between mountains and sea, the area is ideal for discovering the unspoilt beauty of the costa calida.(warm coast) It is about 45 minutes from Murcia San Javier airport, 20 minutes from the new Murcia international airport due to open late 2012 and 10 minutes from the AP7 motorway exit at Las Palas.
The immediate area is ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching. Within a 15 minute drive there are 2 golf courses with others just a little further. The historic cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca are a must for those who are interested in culture or shopping. The blue flag beaches of Puerto de Mazarron are within a short drive. Here there is a large flat wide promenade shaded by palm trees, a marina and numerous bars and gift shops.
