AccomodationVilla Oceanica has a private swimming pool, BBQ area, extensive sun terraces, tropical garden, and spectacular views to the mountains and sea. The main house consists of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, with 2 bathrooms (1 en suite), cloakroom, and a very large kitchen with patio doors leading to the main terrace. There is also a totally self-contained luxury apartment on the ground floor. This is an open plan, except for the bathroom. There are 2 twin bedroom areas with pull-out beds (in total allowing 6-8 persons), and also including a TV lounge area and a small kitchen. Therefore giving Villa Oceanica a total capacity of 10-12 people.
Activities around the VillaA short walk away is a small selection of restaurants and bars, which offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and sea.
The Club del Sol is only a 5 minute walk away and offers tennis, squash, racket ball, and a gym. Across from the local Club del Sol there is a 9 hole golf course. The area is also host to over 30 championship golf courses, all within a half an hour drive away.
The local beach is a ten minute walk. This is through a residential area. A far more popular and attractive beach is Puerto Cabopino, a small exclusive marina boasting a good selection of restaurants and bars located only 2 miles from the villa and is on the way to Marbella.
TravelMalaga Airport is only 30 minutes drive from Calahonda and the villa.
Will you be renting a car?
It's recommended if you want to see the surrounding areas, like Mijas (a delightful traditional Spanish village perched in the Sierra Nevada foothills perhaps 20 mins drive from Calahonda), Puerto Cabopino, Marbella, Old town Malaga, and Puerto Banus. One can even take a day trip further afield to Gibraltar, Ronda, Granada, Cordoba, or Seville (all 1 - 3 hrs away).
