Impressive Manor House With Heated Pool
From the moment you come up the driveway to the entrance of The Manor house, you will be impressed by the grandeur of the property. Walking along the front terrace, overlooking the pastureland to the entrance door makes you appreciate what once was a huge estate. From opening the imposing wooden front door, you will be immediately taken in by the double height hallway, which really does have the ‘wow’ factor.
Off of the hallway you will find the lounge and dining room with it’s enormous stone fireplace and comfortable seating, the wooden carved dining table and a door leading into the impressive fully equipped kitchen.
Also off the hallway is the first of the twin bedrooms (1) and a shower room. A further hallway leads you to the bedroom suite. Where you will find the first double bedroom (2) and the master bedroom (3) with en-suite bathroom and mobile air-conditioning unit. On the first floor are 2 further bedrooms. A twin room (4) with original wooden floors, dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Plus a further double bedroom (5) and en-suite bathroom. The (6)th bedroom is on the mezzanine floor above the kitchen, which has a seating area with a sofa and portable TV and DVD player, twin bedroom and en-suite bathroom. All in all 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
At the end of the hallway are further double wooden doors leading to the pool area.
The Kitchen as with the rest of The Manor house is large, with an inglenook fireplace and wood burner. A large kitchen table, 2 fridge/freezers and all mod cons makes for pleasant preparation for all those fabulous meals by the pool!
The large double side door from the kitchen leads you out to the shaded eating area with large wooden table and views out over the neighbouring valley, perfect for breakfast, lazy lunches and long ‘candlelit’ dinners. From here you can walk around the whole of The Manor house to several different terraces and sitting areas, where you can take brief interludes of solitude! The main outside space is at the rear of The Manor house with a few steps leading up to a fabulous seating area under a ‘Nespra’ tree, ideal for reading a book in the shade, whilst watching the children play in the vast swimming pool.
The vast swimming pool is the center of most activities at The Manor house, and due to the pool having heating this can be enjoyed throughout the whole of the year. With this in mind there is a further eating area at the far end of the pool, with a shaded area next to the barbeque and a lawn for the younger traveller to play. Many have enjoyed long afternoon lunches and memorable moon lit dinners, with a ‘dip’ in the pool before retiring for the night.
