Our Management Team

Raj Kumar

Raj qualified in Hotel & Catering in 1987. Flyrite Travel, his first “start up” business was born in 1986 and grew from a small two man flight only operation into a successful flight, hotel and car sales machine employing in excess of 40 staff.

Using his now vast experience of the travel industry, in 1992, Raj opened The Destination Group, a prominent ‘tailor made’ Tour Operator which, by 2002, had developed into a leading online travel company under the brand of ‘Travel 4 Less’.   Having reached a turnover of £60 Million, the company was sold in 2002 to Lastminute.com and Raj became a member of the Lastminute.com Executive Board.

Two years later he set up two separate businesses, Key 2 Holidays, a worldwide luxury Travel Company and Key 2 Dubai, a Dubai based property Sales and Management Company.  Key 2 Holidays was sold to Western & Oriental Plc in 2007 and Raj took up a role on the Executive Board.  Key 2 Dubai remains active in the Dubai property market and continues to service clients with new and existing investments in the region.

In addition to his role as Business Development Director at holidayrentalhomes.com , Raj currently manages several property investment portfolios in the UK and Europe .

His involvement with Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson on Q Well Being , a unique accessible development which meets the needs of disabled and able bodied individuals & property investors in Cyprus, has given him invaluable experience in understanding and evaluating the needs of this important sector of the community.

Carl continues to be involved in the Cyprus property market and has a non-executive role with a Financial Planning consultancy that specialises in family & business risk protection.
