White Stone is a luxurious villa, with a private infinity swimming pool, situated in one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations on the island of Lefkas, surrounded by a pristine pine and age-long olive tree forest and overlooking the sea.
Built on an incline facing the Ionian Sea, the villa is detached and surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean bushes, that are part of the property. The concept of the villa is based on the serene location and the pleasant climate of the environment making noisy air-conditions unnecessary. Instead, ceiling fans and the loft type architecture allowing natural air flow, support the gentle breeze filled with the sweet scent of the pine trees. The main construction materials used are natural stone, wood and metal which give our house its distinctive character. All of the materials used are eco-friendly, with a minimum environmental impact. Large doors and windows allow direct access to nature, while the colors – white, beige and olive green-were chosen to reflect the surrounding environment. It is worth mentioning that the walls separating the bedrooms are 2,2 m high to allow natural air flow inside the building. Lefkada or Lefkas is one of the most attractive islands of the Ionian Sea, situated on the central part between Corfu and Kefalonia and very close to mainland Greece.
