Salernes. 18 km. Medieval town built around its castle, in a picturesque setting in the valley of the Bresque river. Best known for its tradition of tile making, especially for the trademark terracotta hexagonal floor tiles of Provence.
Tourtour. 20 km. Also called the village in the sky. A beautiful medieval hilltop village with plenty of narrow streets lined with very picturesque Provencal houses dominating a vast area of Provence, from Fréjus and the Mediterranean sea to the east to Cezanne?s Ste Victoire mountain to the west.
