Gateway to Haut Var, and further afield to Gorges du Verdon to the north and the Med coast to the south. Also close to the magnificent Gorges de Chateaudouble, formed by the Nartuby river.

Seillans. 25 km. Delightful hill top village and one of the most beautiful villages in France. Its medieval centre with a maze of narrow cobbled streets, shaded squares and ancient fountains overlooks a wonderful countryside. The village also boasts a castle and lovely church. Home to many artists.
Fayence. 30 km. Much visited hill top fortified village, between sea and mountains and surrounded by picturesque Provencal countryside. Also renowned for its gliding centre, often considered the best in Europe.
Callian. 30 km. Small but charming medieval village with its own castle and winding streets. Starting place for many hikes and walks.

Golf de St Endréol, La Motte. 15 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6219m. In a stunning, sun-drenched natural setting, a spectacular and internationally renowned course offering splendid views over the river Endre.
Le Jardin de César et Léonie, Le Muy. 15 km. Horse riding, Tree top adventure park. For great thrills in all security, up to 12m in height. Different trail for all abilities and a lovely way to discover the forest. Also pony and horse rides available. At Les Folies de Léonie, there is free access to a giant playground under parents? supervision.
Provence Aventure, Vidauban. 25 km. Tree top adventure park. A beautiful setting, in the heart of an oak forest, on the banks of the Argens River. Different trails for the whole family (from the age of 3) according to ages and abilities including for the fearless ones a 200m-long zip line crossing the Argens river. A refreshing experience!
Aqualand, Fréjus. 35 km. Waterpark. Fantastic waterpark with a great number of water rides for the whole family, including the largest wave pool in Europe and the huge Twin-Twister water slide. Not for the faint hearted!

Some stunning scattered Roman remains can still be seen including one of the largest amphitheatres from Gallic times and a Roman theatre still in use for summer events.
