Pontivy. 50 km. Quaint market town with both a Napoleonic and medieval quarter overlooked by its fabulous 15th century moated castle. Situated on the banks of the Nantes to Brest Canal, it has a lovely atmosphere and boasts a large variety of restaurants and bars. Don?t miss the market every Monday morning!
Lorient. 50 km. Bustling city with wide boulevards and a vast array of stylish shops, lying on an immense natural harbour protected from the ocean by the isle of Groix. Famous for its fantastic Celtic festival held every August when all Celtic nations meet for a week of music and celebrations. Not to be missed.
Josselin. 55 km. Lovely medieval town on the banks of the tranquil River Oust. The town is overlooked by a magnificent castle, still inhabited but open to the public. The castle also hosts an interesting Doll museum.
