Aubeterre sur Dronne. 10 km. Classified as one of the prettiest villages in France, this village, full of rustic charm with steep cobbled streets overlooks the Dronne, is built in the shape of an amphitheatre on a white cliff. Its monolithic church is one of the most beautiful and unusual churches in the world. Dating from the 12th century, it is carved into a chalk cliff and is the largest underground church in France.
Chalais. 15 km. Small town situated at the top of a hill and overlooking the valley of La Tude and the magnificent Château de Tallyerand.
Ribérac. 20 km. Pleasant quiet town with many historic building, famous for its Friday market reputedly the biggest market in Perigord.
