England is the largest of the countries which form the United Kingdom, sharing borders with Scotland to the North and Wales to the West. England is part of an Island off continental Europe, it is surrounded by the waters of the Irish Sea, North Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. England also includes over 100 smaller islands such as the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight.
