Dubai Nightlife

Dubai Nightlife: Please note that most of the places that can serve alcohol are bars and nightlife-in-dubairestaurants located inside hotels because they hold alcohol licenses. The few exceptions include the fun Irish Village, the Century Village and the Wafi Centre plus an ever increasing number of venues that are popping up across Dubai.

The weekend begins on Friday, making Thursday evening very popular and you will be spoilt for choice. Bars and clubs can vary from glamorous, sophisticated and expensive to relaxed and informal.

There are few rules that must be abided by in nightclubs – they must close by 3am, only those over the age of 21 can drink alcohol and only those over the age of 25 can enter a club.

Dubai is an Islamic country and it is wise to bear this in mind.  Whilst as a country they have modern views, they also take very seriously the maintenance of respectable behaviour.  Drunkeness in public will not be tolerated and visitors should be sure to behave with decorum at all times to avoid any problems.
