Lagos Holiday & Travel Guide: Lagos is undoubtedly one of the main tourist hubs in the Algarve region and Lagos town itself is particularly lovely, lying on the bank of the Rio Bensafrim, the town is circled by 16th century walls and is extremely picturesque. Most people often miss venturing into the town centre and exploring its delights when they visit because they are distracted by the whole range of other attractions in the area.
On that note, Lagos is a great place to practice extreme sports, and in particular surfing and mountain biking are popular here. For those who like to relax and soak up the sun, or combine a few action packed days with some time out, Lagos has it's fair share of lovely beaches too. The nightlife in the area is also great; there are numerous pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants for you to never be short of ideas and dining options. Walking in the Lagos area is another great option. Simply Lagos arrange walking tours for the Lagos area, so why not find your perfect rental home and then arrange a tour with them!
