Romantic studio apartment, Non-Smoking, in our family house in North Bohemia, for two people over 21 yrs or an adult with an older child over 10. The house was built in 1897 by a German glass manufacturer and stands in an a attractive, quiet residential area. It is an ideal retreat for a private holiday and relaxation . The house has been renovated in the last decade but all the original features and character have been retained. It has an attractive Alpine-style garden for relaxing.
There are several skiing resorts around the town, reached  by bus or train; Dobra Voda, Bedrichov, Hrabetice and Severak.
The area resembles Austria and is ideal for hiking, walking, skiing, cycling, exploring, cultural or sightseeing holidays. 
Jablonec nad Nisou (on the river Nisa) is a town steeped in the history of glass and costume jewellery manufacture. The Information center in the Town Hall on the main Peace (Mirove) square will provide you with advice in several language.
It is easy to visit PRAGUE in one day, 110 kms away, you will get there in 2 hours by coach or car, door to door. The apartment is ideal for you to explore Prague and many other beautiful Bohemian areas. It will enable you to see more but spend less on your holiday.
Within an hour you can reach the Bohemian Paradise, a Unesco Heritage site of outstanding natural beauty, near the town TURNOV on the way to Prague.
A University town of LIBEREC, the birth-place of the car designer Porsche, is only 15 kms away, with many attractions. North Bohemia in general is rich with castles, monasteries and ruins of all types.

The apartment is furnished in a traditional style with a lounge diner, modern kicthen, separate bedroom area with twin beds, which can be joined together, and a shower room. The house has picturesque views, looking out at the mountains, pine forest, other villas and gardens. Feather quilts, blankets, bed linen, towels and teatowels are provided in the rent.

The Giant Mountains (Krkonose) are only an hour's drive away on the Polish border, with more challenging skiing resorts, and these make attractive trip destinations all year round.
